Audectra Stage - Release Notes

Along with several additional minor improvements and fixes since the previous release, these are the ones I would like to point out.

Breaking Changes

Due to massive internal refactorings and improvements and changes, it is recommended to manually uninstall the previous stage agent, before making a clean install of this new version.

New Features

  • Finished internal refactorings and improvements that started with previous release.
  • Greatly reduced start-up time and responsiveness.
  • Web UI for stage configuration.
  • Implemented support for nodes SDK v1.0.14.

Fixed Bugs

  • Fixed issue where starting stage via a SSH session disabled the hardware accelerated rendering support.
  • Fixed crash when using particle system on modern graphic cards.

Web UI

Until now you required an installed Studio instance to properly configure a stage, which was more than simply inconvenient. This has been decoupled, by giving the stage its own configuration user interface.

Home Page

Now you can configure your stage even from your mobile phone, if you like to.
