Backstage Menu

Within the backstage menu, you can create new scenes or visualizations, connect to your stage, import/export scenes to/from your stage, and more. Open the backstage menu by clicking on the "File" tab within the ribbon menu at the top.

Scene Explorer

The scene explorer visualizes your scene as a tree, listing all contained visualizations and their corresponding states. It is available when editing a scene within Studio. Open scene explorer via "Scene Explorer" button on "Home" tab within the ribbon menu.

When navigating between different editors within the scene, the breadcrumb bar will always show you what you are currently editing within the scene, and give you the ability to go back.

Timeline Editor

While editing a scene, you can open the timeline editor via the "Timeline" button on "Home" tab within the ribbon menu. Within the editor, you can customize the active visualization states across all visualization tracks.

Visualization State Editor

Within the state editor, you can combine multiple layers to create unique visualizations. Open the state editor by double-clicking on a state within the Scene Explorer or by double-clicking on a state block within the Timeline Editor.

Binding Editor

The binding editor allows you to edit node networks that define how the value of a bound setting dynamically is calculated.

Property Panel

The property panel allows you to adjust properties of some objects within the editor. If the selected object has configurable properties, then a property panel on the right side will be shown, where you can adjust them.

Render Monitor

When running or editing a scene within Studio, you can preview the render output of your visualizations or states within the render monitor.
